The Axiant Group was formed in 2000 by principals John Abel, Steve Corbitt and Jeff Tremolada. Our principals have cumulative experience of over 75 years in the brokerage business, with superior reputations in the San Francisco brokerage community for integrity, negotiating ability, and successful production.
JOHN A. ABEL – PRINCIPAL
John has over 25 years experience in commercial real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to co-founding The Axiant Group, John had been with Colliers International since 1987, was a Senior Vice President and a top producer for the firm. John currently represents major corporate clients such as Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Texas Pacific Group, Aqua International Partners, California Bankers Association, Chemoil, and Triton Container International.
R. STEVEN CORBITT – PRINCIPAL
Steve is a real estate attorney who has specialized in corporate leasing for over 25 years. Prior to co-founding The Axiant Group, he was a Senior Vice President in Colliers International’s San Francisco Office, and a member of the Board of Directors of Colliers Macauley Nicolls-U.S. Division. Prior to joining Colliers, Steve practiced real estate law, and later became a Vice President in Bank of America’s Corporate Real Estate Division. Steve has negotiated over 4,000,000 square feet of leases. Steve’s area of concentration is tenant representation and corporate service work. Steve has handled significant transactions (50,000 – 400,000 sq.ft.) for Charles Schwab, Robertson Stephens, Visa, and Oracle.
JEFF J. TREMOLADA – PRINCIPAL
Jeff has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience providing advisory and transaction services to corporate and professional users of real estate. Jeff has handled assignments for clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, California, and various other states. Jeff has dedicated his career to representing corporate/professional real estate users only. On behalf of his clients, Jeff has been responsible for handling portfolios totaling more than 10 million square feet. These assignments include full building leases, lease dispositions and restructuring, purchases and sales, and build-to-suits. With regard to leases, Jeff has been involved in more than 250 lease transactions, and has personally managed and negotiated over 7,000,000 square feet of lease transactions. Firms such as Visa U.S.A, ChevronTexaco, PG&E, Bechtel Corporation, Deloitte & Touche, Union Bank, and Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass, among others have relied on Jeff’s expertise for many years.
ROBERT C. LARSCHEID – PRINCIPAL
Bob has 21 years experience in providing corporate real estate solutions to clients in San Francisco. Prior to joining The Axiant Group, Bob was a founding member of Stubbs, Collenette & Associates in 1988 and Belvedere Associates, Inc. in 1992. He was consistently a top producer in both firms. With The Axiant Group, Bob has developed a proven reputation as one of the best tenant advocates in San Francisco corporate real estate, having successfully completed over 500 lease transactions for satisfied clients. Bob is frequently quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle and San Francisco Business Times regarding corporate real estate trends in the marketplace.
TODD MOTOYOSHI – PRINCIPAL
Todd Motoyoshi joined The Axiant Group in 2015, bringing with him over 25 years of commercial real estate and consulting experience. Throughout his career, he has ranked among the top consultants nationally at the various firms for which he has worked. With a thorough understanding of the specific factors affecting real estate transactions, Mr. Motoyoshi’s primary focus is helping companies navigate the many complex issues related to their real estate assets. He has provided real estate consulting and brokerage services to many Fortune 1000 companies, resulting in approximately 6.8 million square feet of projects.
